Works in HDMI and VGA modes. In DVI-D mode flashes up DVI-D Power saving Mode then goes black. Tried all usual cable and plug changes. On/Off the power etc. was OK unitl I attached a VGA cable from other computer for t/shooting other computer.

Are you sure someone hasn't changed the power setting in windows. I've seen similar tricks pulled by so called mates. :-) If windows is OK then check the manual for the monitor and if you still can't crack it take it for a ride to the repair shop. It is under warranty after all. BMW

Go to your monitor power settings and turn off Hibernation and other monitor power schemes.
If this problem persist, request for more technical assistance from the manufacturers website

Maybe you can update your video card driver. My wife notebook is connected at times to my DELL17" flat screen and ever so often it cuts off in the middle of something. I update the video driver and reset the monitor to factory settings and it's working like a dream.
I suggest, you use the menu buttons on the LCD and reset it ot factory settings, and possibly update your video card.
