The viewfinder on my fujifilm finpix SL310 has stopped working

This is a non essential part and does not have to be in place for the camera to operate properly. I would suspect that the part can be ordered through a Fujifinpix sales dealer. This little plastic cover on all my cameras is the first thing to be removed and lost.

What I've found with these cameras is that they can become overheated if left in a car, dashboard, or in direct sunlight. In most cases the screen will return to its "normal" after the camera has cooled down.
