SOURCE: Rowe cd jukebox

See your manual on how to enter SERVICE MODE. When you enter it the display will show SERVICE MODE. Then type, hold and push, or push the keyboard keys as follows:
Type 20 - display will show ATTRACT MODE ON
hold RESET key down and then push 9 key - display will show ATTRACT MODE OFF
push POPULAR key

The problem should be fixed and you can shut the door and resume normal operation.

SOURCE: Wurlitzer 1800 jukebox, plays record

If the normal cancel button is working then take a look at the tone arm trip switch, which probably just needs adjusting. You can test this by flicking it with your finger when a record is playing. If it works it just needs adjusting to trip at the right place on the record.
The trip switch is located behind the fat end of the cobra tone arm on the back side of the arch, so you get to it by taking the machine back door off.

1946 Wurlitzer 1015 may play random records in addition. I might push #22 and the jukebox may play #17, #8 and then #22 or it might play only #22. Suggestions?

If your Wurlitzer 1015 jukebox is playing random records or not responding as expected when you select a specific number, there could be a few potential issues to consider:
  1. Mechanical or Electrical Malfunction: Check for any mechanical or electrical issues that could be causing the jukebox to behave unpredictably. This could include loose connections, worn-out components, or malfunctioning parts.
  2. Selection Mechanism: The selection mechanism of the jukebox may be experiencing issues, causing it to select records incorrectly or play random selections. Ensure that the selection mechanism is properly aligned and functioning smoothly.
  3. Programming or Settings: If your jukebox has programmable settings or features, review the programming to ensure that it's set up correctly. There may be settings related to random play or selection behavior that need adjustment.
  4. Maintenance: Regular maintenance of the jukebox is crucial to ensure proper functioning. Clean the mechanisms, lubricate moving parts, and check for any signs of wear or damage that may be affecting performance.
  5. Seek Professional Help: If you're unable to diagnose or resolve the issue on your own, consider seeking assistance from a professional jukebox technician or repair service. They can inspect the jukebox thoroughly and provide expert advice or repairs as needed.
By addressing these potential issues and ensuring that your Wurlitzer 1015 jukebox is properly maintained and calibrated, you can improve its reliability and minimize the chances of it playing random records or behaving unpredictably.

Rowe Ami Jukebox buttons do not unleash

Hello Pedro,

You need to unlock the top door of the jukebox so you can operate the catches to get to the keyboard. The open relays R1 & R5 which are normally under a plastic cover, the open contacts on these relays need cleaning. Do not use any form of switch cleaner, just make a paper taper and pull this through the contacts to clean the contact tips.

Nsm performer classic

If your NSM Performer Classic jukebox is not accepting money and playing music, there could be a few different issues that could be causing this problem. Here are a few things you can try:
  1. Check the coin mechanism: Make sure the coin mechanism is clean and in good working order, and that the coin chute is not blocked.
  2. Check the bill acceptor: Make sure the bill acceptor is clean and in good working order, and that the bill path is not blocked.
  3. Check the credit display: Make sure the credit display is working properly and that it is displaying the correct amount of credits.
  4. Check the software: Make sure the software on the jukebox is up to date and that there are no errors.
  5. Check the selection buttons: Make sure the selection buttons are working properly and that the jukebox is able to receive selection inputs
  6. Check the amplifier and speaker: Make sure the amplifier and speaker are working properly and that the jukebox is producing sound.
If none of these steps resolves the issue, it is possible that the jukebox may be defective and require repair or replacement. In that case, contact NSM customer support for further assistance.

I have a 1979 rowe ami jukebox model R65 when i switch it on it plays one record then just spins the record magazine and wont select another record what parts do i need .

Hello Gary,

If your jukebox is ineed a 1979 model it would be a R-83 Fiesta, Claremont or Disco. These jukeboxes curved top to bottom.
I think your jukebox may be the 1981 R-85 Starwood, Starburst or Starlight.

If your jukebox is from the 1979 era upwards then it will be electronically controlled.
You need to send in your boards to a Rowe Ami specialist in the USA you would contact :-

Rowe Nostalgia jukebox will only play a few of the numbers of the 100 cd;s. Is there anyway to reset it so it will play all numbers?

Hello,

You will need to go into the programming section on the menu.
I suggest that if you do not have a manual that you obtain one from Rowe Ami, Victory Glass or distribution.

Have you initalised all of the CD's on your jukebox? Every time you replace a CD you have to initalise it.

3. Turn ON jukebox (w/o power cord plugged in)
4. Turn OFF jukebox
5. Plug cord into SURGE PROCTOR (not wall, not simple power strip)
6.Turn ON jukebox.
7. If it doesn't work, try once more; otherwise ... *sigh* repair/replace..

2900 Keeps playing records

THE WURLITZER JUKEBOX WILL CONTINUE TO PLAY SONGS AS LONG AS ONE OR MORE, SELECTING PINS (THERE ARE 200 IN THE 2900 ONE FOR EACH SONG. THE PINS ARE IN LOWER SECTION OF THE CASE. BETWEEN THE SPEAKERS , AND LOWER DOOR.)
REMOVE LOWER BACK DOOR. WATCH THE ARM THAT STOPS ON THE NEXT RECORD, BECAUSE THE PIN IS UP. AFTER STOPPING ON THE PIN, THE ARM PUSHES THE PIN DOWN. THAT IS THE NORMAL OPERATION. IF THE PIN, IS NOT PUSHED DOWN, IT WILL PLAY THAT OR ANY OTHER SONG THAT HAS A PIN IS RAISED UP. THE PINS ARE THE MECHANICAL MEMORY FOR THAT JUKEBOX.
TURN OFF POWER, ==PUSH ALL PINS DOWN== THE SONGS WILL STOP PLAYING. THEN MAKE A SONG SELECTION. THE ONE PIN WILL POP UP THE MACHINE SHOULD PLAY THAT SONG.
WATCH THE ARM THAT STOPPED TO PLAY THE SONG, PUSH THE PIN DOWN. THAT IS THE SEQUENCE OF THE 2900 MACHINE,
WHAT CAN GO WRONG IS AS FOLLOWS. ==THE ARM DOES NOT PUSH PIN DOWN== THE ARM MISSES PIN== THE ARM NEED OIL, IT IS NOT LUBRICATED.==.

Only plays certain numbers

If it is a 200 selection machine you probably have a jammed number solenoid in the selector unit. This prevents the machine being able to move the solenoids to the correct number. Look at the circular selector unit with 'pins' on it under the carousel. at the bottom of that you will see a circular disc with 'teeth' all around it. When the jukebox is at rest or turned off you should be able to gently rotate that plate with the teeth on it. If it is jammed then that's your problem and will need some serious fixing.

3400 series werlitzer 1970 jukebox

Look in the back. If you 'pop' a pin on the selector ring (press at the bottom of the small springs) so it pops up and the machine then plays o.k. then it is probably a bad contact in your keyboard leaf switches. Run a stiff piece of paper or card between the contacts to clean them.
If it doesn't play, then you have more complicated problems.
