If you install a cartridge that has previously been installed you will get this warning message. Once you press OK you should be able to print normally. This message is to ensure you do not put the old cartridge in by mistake (yes it happens), or someone does not try to sell you a used cartridge as new.

Something is wrong with your Blach carrier or connections. Use a bit of alcohol and clean the array of gold contacts where the Ink cartridge plugs in. Most of the pins are shutter and piezo control (get the ink on paper) but a few do other stuff like check ink level, # of hours runtime, etc. This is very common problem with inkjet printers. Hope this helps.
Also... rub the contacts on the printhead with a pencil eraser to make them shiny and bright.
Cheers!

Just downloading the PCL5 driver was not enough for my computer. Maybe it is enough for other users' computers. But in addition to downloading the drivers, i had to also download and install the "HP Laserjet 1320 plug and play print driver solution" at the bottom of the driver list. Save the file to your desktop, double-click it and follow instructions to install, then reboot. Then when I checked my printer list, the HP Laserjet 1320 was there. I printed a test page, and now i am good to go. Hope this helps.

Gotta love the internet!
I had the same problem...I seriously considered getting a new printer since I've had my faithful 5510 AIO for like, six years...but what I did was grab some witch hazel and a q-tip. Dipped the q-tip in, wiped down all copper contacts on the carriage and also on the print cartridge...blew on it to air dry...popped it back in and viola! It's back to normal.
