The fan is making a humming sound

Personally i would call the seller and have them look at it. It is not a great concern, sounds like vibration.

1. Defective control board
2. Defective door interlock

Sounds like a noisy compressor module.

You should first be sure your filters are clean and that your ductwork is clear.

Possibly a shorted relay on the main timer board?? hum coming from transformer being powered with no fan running. With No fan you can hear it hum. shorted power relay on main board.

Evap fan going bad. Change this and you will be good to go. Hope this helps.

It sounds like it is probably your evaporator fan, seeing as that fan will cycle off when the door is open, and resume when you close the door. Either some how something got in to it, or it is going bad. Hope this helps

There is a fan that blows cold air into the refrigerator. It usually stops when the door is opened. Check to see if it might be frozen with ice if the humming sounds abnormally loud. Usually if it freezes up you cannot hear the fan running and the refrigerator will not get cold enough.

the fan goes off when door opened and when closes it will turn back on is normal operation of fan and door control --as to noise --fan may be failing ---iced over ----if seal failing will cause unit to run more and allows more moisture into evap which can cause more ice over

Sounds like the freezer fan is rubbing some wires or possible some foam insulation around the fan. I would look into the freezer compartment fan and go from there. The fan Will Shut off when you open the doors. Let me know how you make out and if you need anymore help.
