You will most likely just need to sign out of your wife's account and then sign back in using your own account. The web browser may be remembering the last account that was signed in to.

Give that a try and if it doesn't help, reply with a comment and I will help troubleshoot further.

Hope that helps!

SOURCE: My wall posts are appearing on my wife's profile.

There is a very simple solution to this problem. in your gmail account you should be able to invite her to use gmail and just have her create a gmail account all her own, instead of being on a sub account under you.

I have actually never heard of what you are describing before, and I have been a gmail user for years, well, matter of fact since it started.

If she uses her own separate email account, not a sub account of any kind, that will resolve the issues.

which account you can't access? Is is the Facebook or Msn account? If you can access your msn account, you need to change your password immediately and use your email to access the Facebook account. Now, if you can't access your msn account, click on 'Forgot your password' and restore it by anwering questions (your question you saved when you first did this account)

Wife has old account,I want to open my own, how

Go to Outlook.com and get yourself a free email address of your own. You need to do this because whenever you try to sign in with your wife's email address, it will be looking for her password.

Once you have your own email address, you can set up a new account. Unfortunately, you omit to tell us where!

Someone made up a fake yahoo email account and sent a friend of mines wife a nasty message with my phone number I don't know the wife how do I find out who set up the email account?

this would be difficult to trace.
You would have to contact yahoo email and ask them if they can provide the ip address that set up the email account. Then you would have to contact the resulting ISP .
http://www.ip-tracker.org/locator/ip-lookup.php
that the ip address belongs to and request them to provide the user who had the ip address at the time the account was set up.
this assumes that who ever set up the account was not internet savy and masked their ip address from yahoo mail.

You can combine multiple Gmail accounts into a single, primary Gmail account by using the POP3 Mail Fetcher application built into Gmail.
The Mail Fetcher enables you to retrieve email from POP3 email accounts, including Gmail, and send mail as if from a different email address all from within your primary Gmail account. Configure your primary account to manage your other Gmail accounts with the Mail Fetcher.

Sign in to the Gmail account that you want to use to manage your Gmail accounts.
Click the "Settings" icon, represented by a gear cog, in the top left and click "Mail Settings."

Click the "Accounts and Import" tab.
Click the "Add POP3 Email Account" button.
Enter the email address of your secondary email account and then click "Next Step."
Enter the password of your secondary email account and then click "Add Account."
Click the radio button beside "Yes, I want to be able to send email as
[SECONDARY EMAIL ADDRESS]" and then click "Next Step."
Enter the display name for your secondary email address and then click "Next Step."
Click "Send Verification" and then check your secondary email account.
Click the link contained in the verification email to confirm the integration of that account with your primary Gmail account.
All mail sent to your secondary Gmail is now delivered to your primary account, and when responding your secondary Gmail address is displayed in the From section of the email.

Access all your gmail accounts

My wife and I share an email address. Can we have two seperate facebook accounts with one email address?

No, an email address is used to identify one - and one only - account on facebook. One of you will need to open another email account.

If you need a specific word or name in your email address, (example: jones@yahoo.com) try opening an account with another provider such as AOL. (example: jones@aol.com).

Anyway, facebook only allows one (specific) email account for each facebook account.

How can my wife set up a facebook account using the same computer and email address?

I think it's one account per email address. Just the way it is set up for security reasons.

Two facebook accounts with one email acct?

Get another email address.
http://gmail.com
...is free and has 7Gb, so you can leave it alone for ages and it won't fill up with spam.  Or, you could open an account and in the
Settings --> Forwarding and POP/IMAP
...part, set it so that all emails from your new account are autometically sent on to the address you and your wife share.

If you do open an account; make sure you make a note of the email address and the password somewhere, as it's easy to lose passwords for accounts you don't use often.

Then, of course, you open your facebook with your new gmail account email address.  Job done.

My wife started a Facebook account : does it mean u have created a seperate account in ur name ?

solution : 1 if so , u must have got the activeation mail : please check ur inbox and junk folder . if u dont find the activation/confirmation mail from face book , then looks like ur alternate mail has been used primary contact :

solution 2 : ask ur wife to login to her accout and then later log off .

then sign in with ur personal account and see if the creadentials are valid .

(u can view 2  diff account on the same browser , unless 1 of the account is logged off ).

would b glad know more about it .,

good day .
