Mine did the same, you will probably need a software update ! contact where you bought it and a guy usualy turns up within 24 hours hooks it up to his lap top and hey presto,, I was told it was a common fault with early samsungs (as I have one !) Just for information I wouldn't buy another samsung if they where free, they are slow and the picture break up is horrendous

my tv is FD Trinitron WEGA KV-HA21. when i press the power button it starts but after about three secounds it trips to stand-by and starts blinking four quick succession at intervals

When not watching a tape, be sure power is off ( VCR ).....
How is the picture...? When you watch tapes, do you put the
TV on channel 3 or select video..? Also, what is signal source ?
Cable ? Box ?.....................T.

you need to be sure ,if at the shop they also did replace some resistors ,that may are bad too. try to turn on thetv with out te module if the tv works . then you'll know if the probem its just something bad on that board. please keep me inform. thanks
