If the screen is broken, better change the tv. repairs will be very expensive.

I'm sorry, but the Sansui VRDVD4005 was not designed to be upgraded or updated and Sansui no longer has parts for it. I have seen sites on the internet in the past where this machine was fixed by replacing the DVD drive, (it used a computer dvd drive), but don't have any details on this.
