I wish to delete my present email address and create a new one. how do I accomplish this?

You need the phone to delete the information on it.

Once you create an apple I.D. using your email address, it becomes your "user name" no matter what email addresses you use for your mail. You don't need that exact email address anymore once you've created an account, but can change your profile information once you log into your account. Add a new email address, credit card, etc... Go to Google and create a new email account, using the email address and password that you want (not your existing one !). Go to your existing gmail account and forward any emails and contacts you wish to keep to your new account. Make sure everybody who you want to knows your new address.
Run the two accounts in parallel for a while to confirm that you have transferred all the contacts you want, and then simply ignore your old account and let it lapse.
I have yet to find a way to positively delete a gmail, hotmail, or BTmail account without letting it lapse by not using it.

2 - In Outlook, log onto your old email address.
3 - Create a message rule to forward all messages received in your old email address Inbox to your new email address. To do this go to the Message heading and select "Create Rule From Message".

o cancel a Gmail account and delete the associated Gmail address:

You can perform the below steps to remove the name from email address if using Gmail account: Go to Settings > Accounts and Import > Send mail as and then click Edit info. Delete your name. You can leave that field blank if you wish.


If you are referring to change the name infront of email address then I am sorry to say that it is not possible as that is the email address regestered with the email service hence you have to create a new email address.

If I understand your question, you just want to remove the header of an email, such as the From/To/Subject information before forwarding it to something else. If that is correct, then it is as simple as clicking the Forward button, then you can delete any text that is in that email, including the headers.

Outlook Express is just a software which can send and recieve emails from any email account configured on it(Outlook Express). regardless of yahoo, gmail, comcast.net ,aol.com etc.

So if you want to change your email address and want to use it on outlook express, you need to first create an email account by going to the website on which you want to create an email address.

Once you have created the email address we can look for the POP/SMTP server settings of that particular email account on the internet .
Once we have those(POP/SMTP) addresses we can configure Outlook Express to send and recieve emails for your new email account.
