My phone is not recognized by the PC Suite by USB cable. The cable is right, in fact the system do recognize the phone when the conection is made without the PC Suite. The thing is that I'm trying to use it as a modem, to conect my laptop to internet. I have a Dell XPS, windows Vista 32. I've installed 4 diferents versions of pc suite, the last ones does not recognize this model at all. The only versión that recognize it vía bluetooth is the Sony Ericsson PC Suite 2.10.46. Is the only that support W. Vista for this model. But can not connect to the internet as well, via PC Suite. The phone can connect to the laptop via bluetooth and transfer files and so on, but can not connect whith Pc Suite to the internet vía Bluetooth. If anybody can help me. Thank you for attention. * Download the software
* Run the software and follow the instruction on installation,some drivers will be installed on your computer and wait until the process is done.
* open the application then plug your phone using a data cable or usb cable to your computer,wait until the phone is recognized.

Hi, if you want your PC to recognize the phone your using, you will need to install a nokia connectivity first before install nokia pc suite.

Nokia connectivity is a driver that makes your PC to recognize the phone when connected.

When you install the nokia connectivity, install nokia pc suite, and then try it out again. am sure it will work.

Note:Hope the cables are ok.

As a member, you can then download the Motorola Phone Tools (PC Suite) for your PC for free.

**Make sure you download the USB Drivers, too.

The download for the PC Suite is in .zip format. You'll need to unzip it to a new folder. (You can create a new folder on your desktop)

After unzipping the file to the new folder, double click on it to open > locate the >>
Setup icon and double click on it.

This will install Motorola Phone Tools (PC Suite) on your PC.

Start the Phone Tools Program by double clicking on the icon on your desktop.

Download the Data Cable/Modem drivers and attach your phone to your PC with a USB data cable.
(You may also be able to use Bluetooth)

Your PC will then recognize your phone.

its a mismatch between the computer and the Phone . check the add hardware app and see if the usb cable and phone are recognized. if they are recognized then run th nokia suite app again.

try to download nokia 3230 pc suite again, but first delete the one that you have on your computer completely before installing the new one
