Why is my 2006 pt cruiser still overheating and bubbling when i replaced the radiator the thermostat and the o2 censor

O2 sensor has nothing to do with engine overheating. Are you losing coolant? Did you bleed all the air out of the cooling system after replacing radiator? Have you checked the coolant for exhaust gas byproducts? You may have a bad head gasket, or a cracked block/head if you ran the car for an extended period while overheated.

02 pt cruiser is overheating how do I find the cause of it

check the following: 1.radiator fan motor and fuse for operation. 2. run cooling system pressure test for head gasket, hoses, water pump leaks. 3. pressure test radiator cap. If all tests pass, flush radiator with coolant flush or citric acid for 33-45 minutes

Car overheats and engine sputters like there is misfire. Hook it up to computer and got no dcd codes. I need help.

Assuming you have enough coolant in the car, try a new radiator cap first. If that doesn't fix it try changing the thermostat and seal.
If it only happens with the a/c on at low speeds the aux cooling fan is bad. There is a low speed fan and high speed fan depending on how hot the motor is. Both turn off at speeds higher than 35mph.
If it happens without the a/c it could be bad water pump, radiator fan or a cracked head. Cracked head could allow steam leaking into the intake causing misfire.

My 2001 PT Cruiser is overheating. I took it to the dealership and they said I needed a new fan. I replaced the fan and it's still overheating. Does anyone know why?

They did not do there job, they should of block check the engine also what about the radiator is it plugged or the waterpump they fail on the inside as the propellor is plastic. Becareful your engine can blow a head gasket blows easy

My pt cruiser iver heated and the head gasget blew. I was told that I would need to get, at least a new head, if not a new engine becuase the head on this pt cruiser can't not be resurfaced. does anyone...

You may not need an engine depending on how long you drove it overheated. if your engine is not knocking or rapping it may be saveable. check with auto parts stores that resurface engine heads if haveing resurfaced have the head checked for cracks. if you need an engine check your local junk yard for a low milage wreck or look in ebay.

White coloured engine oil, overheating

White oil means water or coolant is leaking in via Head Gasket Failure or a crack in the head. Along with repair - be sure to have each cylinder compression tested to see if there is a crack that has developed. Thanks for using FixYa - a FixYa rating is appreciated for answering your FREE question.
