Bottom row of letters has died/is suddenly unresponsive. Can this be fixed?

Your touch sensitive screen seems to be broken. This normally means it needs to be replaced completely.

When i press a key on the keyboard it types alot of letters.not just the one i want. how do i fix that

Hi Lorie,
I think that you need to reduce the sensitivity of the'keyboard'. If this isn't covered in your user manual contact Amazon technical support.

How do i make my tablet with a crack screen work again

You HAVE to replace the screen. Once its broken, the display might work; but it will loose touch sensitivity.

If you do have a usb jack for your tablet, you could connect a mouse and a keyboard to it and use it using these external input devices.

TC1100 onscreen keyboard.

Use a USB keyboard and do a system restore.
Use a USB keyboard to access HP.com and search for a download there.
Use a USB keyboard to backup, reformat, reinstall factory image.Takes longer, but probably best overall fix, HDD may have a few bad sectors and format will fix or avoid them. May be a great time for a 7200 RPM drive and some more RAM! 2Gb RAM and a high speed drive will breathe a bunch of life into a great tablet like the tc1100.
