Why does my Hitachi Quadricool TM window AC compressor cut off every 1 minute and comes back after 2 - 3 minutes?

The water you hear is the water in in the drip/drain pan. In most cases, that sound is normal. However, if you don't have the rear of the unit tilted down at least 1/4" to 1/2", the water can not reach the drain hole and drain away, as it should. Correcting that should help solve the other issues you mentioned.

your air condisioning cord is bad replace cord to ac.

Is the AC set on an energy saving mode. Together with this program if the thermostat is defective the same symtoms can appear. So please check on the thermostat and replace.
Since the compressor is cutting off the cooling does not take place to the extend that is set.

service and checked the gas you see ice is coming or not on cooling coil

that sounds like you have a electrical problem ,which is in the compressor.Its grounded out to the casin ,the fan comes on then the compressor cycles on an cuts the unit off, thens tries to crank back up but trips the breaker....

sounds to me as if the heater and a/c may possibly coming on at the same time causing too many amps to be pulled from the electrical box causing the overload to be tripping. You should also check to insure there is a clean coil. If there is a dirty coil or any type of blockage to the coil it will cause a compressor to over heat and trip the overload switch.

ist open grill of window ac.there is two scrow outside the grill.after open grill u can pull ac from cover.
