I have a nextbook 7 inch and it is frozen on the startup screen when it shows the abraham lincoln expression.I have open and closed it very times and it still does the same thing.WHAT TO DO ??

nextbook is showing a yellow light while charging but wont

Try using the reset switch (a small hole in the case) put a straightened paperclip or a pin very gently through the hole until yuo meet a resistance. Press very gently and this will reset the tablet.

Check the tutorial at Techniques to Tackle Android Tablet from Boot Stuck . One or two of these methods will wipe your data and your applications. Losing applications isn't so bad -- you can just reinstall them. But I hope you have backed up your data!

On most modern computer devices, just pushing the On/Off switch is only a suggestion and the computer can ignore it (or might not get the suggestion). Try holding the On/Off switch down until the computer turns off (that might take 5-10 seconds).
