To be able to send mail you will have to add the SMTP server of your Internet Provider into your mail app / program.

If you use another mail program then search in the online manual for SMTP settings.

You can always wipe windows 8.2 and reload windows 7!

you will need to change the settings of incoming mail server and outgoing mail server. please help me with the application which you are using for your mailing purpose, so that according to that i can send you the settings

for sending mail through outlook u have to configure it..

1. check you SMTP settings ( Simple Mail Transfer Protocol) >> Outgoing settings 2. You didn't state which email client you are using. The "outing going/ incoming mail settings will be checked 1st.
2. Clear the acct and set it up again in the "accounts tab to correct this for the future.
If this is Outlook or Outlook Express check the Microsoft page for proper email account setup. You can go to the "helps" in the Windows "help and support" on your laptop to correct this issue.
