My tv does not power on. The vizio logo is an amber color when plugged in, but the tv does not turn on the logo should turn white when the power button the tv is pushed, or the remote used. I tried replacing the powerboard, but that didn't change anything.
Vizio logo is an indicator that the tv is live n changes to white that the screen is on meaning if no change to white the smps switch mode power supply board ain't switching the mother board....diagnosis is its MOSFET transistors need replacement or the smps board n ya tv will be fine
The smps board is the power supply board? I replaced that with new and no change. TV still does not come on, logo light stays on amber.

why should i tell you (fixYa) how i fixed the problem for free? You wanted to charge me for your info so i think it's only fair that i charge you for mines. I did figure out and solved the problem.

there a problem on power side.. chage the ic and the resistor going to ic and check also the signal diode.

IT SHOULD BE UNDER WARRANTY. TAKE IT TO AN AUTHORIZED VIZIO SERVICER.

sound like the inverter circuit board problem. check & replace back same part# inverter circuit board. hopefully could help!!
