TV remote I purchased a 9inch TV/DVD 2 1/2 years aga at Walmart. The remote broke and the universal remotes that I have since bought do not have the code. model number is DCC0903D and serial number is V20314602, manufactured May 2003. Can you help? Thanks, Modena

You can purchase a universal remote that works with all sets at any Walmart, Target, Sears, Best Buy, Big Lots, Radio Shak ect. They come with instructions on how to program the remote to work with your model television set. Universal remotes also control DVD players, VCR's, Cable TV ect.

Just get as generic remote and if your code isnt in there go to the auto scan mode like it tells yo in the guide

To be honest, you can't. Purchase a universal remote control. I just bought one from Walmart for $4.94. The remote will control everything for your TV.

If you have an RCA TV/DVD combo model #20F510TD....... I may be able to help....somewhat.
I was able to program a (Walmart) RCA 3 device universal remote control ( $9.96)
but only for the TV. I could not get the remote to program for the DVD.

Buy a new replacement universal remote from walmart for about 6 bucks.

The one I bought from Walmart has never played one disc. Always says wrong disk. Factory set for region 1 and I live and bought it in region 2.

I own a One-for-All universal remote (model URC-4220) which works with Haier TVs. The remote comes with a booklet with a list of setup codes.
In order to determine if you can change things manually, you would need to push any buttons on the TV, and see if VIDEO 1 or VIDEO 2 appears on the screen. If nothing like this happens, then you need to buy a universal remote.
I purchased my remote at Walmart, for less than 10 dollars.
