When I tried to play a media player the screen is green how can I resolve this
It is possible that green screen happens with some uncertain file formats.
Media file formats vary from each other in a massive spectrum. Maybe some online videos that you have downloaded are encoded with a complicated codec set. This conclusion is from many users complaining about some rare video files like PVA, NUV, FLI, WTV.
You can view the source article for help and more information about the green screen.
Guide: How to Fix VLC Green Screen Problem
NO PC told model
many old PCs (most) older than 2010
fail to load w10
or do and many chips are dead (for sure sound)
and GPU.
you the look in to device manager and see the red ink of BAD DRIVER
then you go to hp.com see your unstated PC
and it tells you , sorry no w10 support
if it says YES , all drivers are there.
it is that simple.
last
load free VLC
end.
no media told? at all.
DVD? what.
media player is not media it is only a 99% dead player.
VLC does most.
this is what MS windows can not play
OOBE
those that are not MS owned.
https://wiki.videolan.org/VLC_Features_F...
see all those? sure overwhelming,
w10 OOBE supports these only (tiny )
m4v
.mp4
.mov
.asf
.avi
.wmv
.m2ts
.3g2
.3gp2
.3gpp
MS flat refused to pay a 100 license fees to all owners of the codec for video.
that way w10 does not cost $500 to buy.
dig?
so load VLC, the french found a way to do it for free, god bless them.
this list of Codec is in the wiki
do not read it or head explodes !
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_co...
no PC on earth does them all.
not yet.
what matters most is DVD and Mp4 for most of users (MPEG-4)
I use MKV+MP4 ,on my server.

SOURCE: Creative Zen Touch firmware problem
I had the same issue after trying to update firmware the PC kept saying the player was not connected, I have copied the reply below from Creative Customer Services on how I fixed this problem. I was lucky that I have access to an old PC that had WMP 10 so I didn't need to mess with my own PC. However, there was some messing about with the instructions to get the fix. My main tip is follow the instructions below, then go to device manager and uninstall the Zen from your USB list, it will probably be flagged with a yellow triangle. Remove it totally and then reinstall the Zen driver, this worked for me after I had taken the steps listed here;
1. Please uninstall all Creative software & Drivers.
2. If WMP 11 is installed, remove it including Media Player 11 runtime
(may require a reboot for each thing).
Go to add/remove programs and uninstall these two files (this will put
your pc back to wmp10). http://support.creative.com/kb/ShowArticle.aspx?sid=16737
Related topic is further explained on this page http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/player/11/readme.aspx#DevicenotrecognizedafterinstallingWindowsMediaPlay
3. Download the following files from the website and save them to a
unique folder.

You may have to select your own Product > Choose your Specific Model>
then Double Click.
Down below; please ensure that your Operating System selected is Windows XP.
Driver : Creative Zen and Jukebox Driver Upgrade version 1.30.03
Firmware: Creative Zen Touch PlaysForSure Firmware 2.11.01
You may want to click the Show Details button on the right side for
additional information.
4. Re-install the Zen Driver and reboot the PC and then connect the
player.
5. Make sure the firmware update is ready,
Run the program but don't click the language bit yet), leave the mouse
hovering over your language selection.
6. On the Zen - select the option "reload OS"
7. As soon as it flashes up "reload new firmware now via USB" click the
language button on the firmware.
8. Now PC should find it and allow you to re-load the firmware. (it may
take a few attempts)
9. Once complete, click close and restart the pc. Everything should now
be fine.
10. If installation is successful, you can re-install your WMP11 and
everything should be okay this time.
Good luck
SOURCE: cannot play wma audio book on mp3
Audiobooks in WMA format have a restrictive DRM-license that does not allow their use on certain types of mp3 player. To use the WMA file that you already have, you will need to use an illegal DRM-stripper such as Tunebite - but, that's illegal.
You will have to stick to audiobooks that are in mp3 format - and even then, there are a few asterisks - you may not be able to resume where you left off without fast-forwarding. But at least you will be able to play the file.
SOURCE: error when trying to download MS strrets and trips 2006 w/ GPS lo
I have used every version of streets & Trips since 05, and have never had any issue with Win Media Player, currently using streets 2009 on one machine with Windows 7 RC1, which has WMP 11, and on another PC streets 2008 and Vista with WMP 11. You may need to change your default program settings for media back to WMP if you ever had another media player installed.
