SOURCE: washer spins slowly & won't drain

Look at the bottom of the front panel. There on either side is a philips head screw. removing these will release the front panel. the upper part may have spring clips to the top. clearly it is nearly impossible for a sock to get stuck in the pump as the water drains out through all them tiny holes in the drum. look for a broken belt. there should be two of them. the motor is in the left front portion of the washer and is spring loaded to push out from the center.

SOURCE: Water Leak from the Front Door of our Maytag Epic MFW9700S

The water leaking is most likely the gasket. It may have a little rip or something making it not seal. Im not sure about Maytag but on our GE we had to slide the the top back to remove some screws then (I believe to was for the control panel) Then we removed screws for the door and the front of the washer. When that was done you have to remove a round clamp that holds the gasket on. Then replace the gasket.

My suggestion is to have a appliance repair come and do it. Its a pain to do, at least it was for me.

SOURCE: My ge washer shuts off at 19 minutes, but filter is clean

The rug backing may have gone into the pump (the white motor thing) you might take the motor out and flush it out if it is clear and it still won't pump out the pump needs replaced.

What does E1 Error mean

The E1 code is an error code that appears on the LED temperature display of some digital air conditioners. The error code could mean anything from dirty air filters to a damaged room thermistor, a device connected to your thermostat that detects room temperature.

Check All the Buttons: The E1 error code sometimes means that one of the control buttons is stuck, particularly on Haier models. Press all the buttons. If you find one that is sticking, free it, and the error code should disappear.

Hi how to fix code E1 toshiba aw-dc1500wubb

The "E1" code indicates there is a drain error, water can not drain fully within the required drain time. Before doing any cleaning or maintenance you want to power off and unplug your washer.
I would suggest removing and cleaning the pump filter and checking the drain hose for a blockage. On a front loading machine there is a circular area toward the bottom front corner. Use a coin, a key or a screwdriver to get that circular trap door opened. Once you have that opened you can pull the hose out to open the block and allow the remainder of the water to drain.
The filter comes out with a twist - remove the filter to clean any coin, pins or any other kind of foreign material. Then replace it and thumb twist to tighten it (you put the hose back, right?) and then close the filter cover.
I believe this should do the trick. Happy washing!

Teach me how to fix aircon says e1?

Hello, Mari-vick -

Without knowing the model number of your Aircon (an air conditioner, I believe), I can only provide you with generic instructions.

I hope you have the owner's manual and have checked there regarding the E1 error code.

If you do not have the manual, then . . .

Reasons for E1 error code, air conditioner:

1. Clean or replace the air filter. Note: Unplug the unit first. After cleaning or air filter replacement, plug the unit back in to the electrical outlet.

2. If the E1 error code still displays, it could mean one of the following problems:
- loose internal connections
- indoor and outdoor parts communications problem
- faulty control panel
Note: You may need an Aircon authorized repair technician for any such repairs.

Read more about the E1 error code on air conditioners and what may be malfunctioning here:

What to do to fix the E1 error on a haier her08xc7

Push buttons about five times each beforjust to make sure they are not stuck....then......Turn the air conditioner OFF and unplug it. NOTE: The air conditioner must be unplugged for the automatic filter clean timer to reset. Clean the filter. See the Care and Cleaning section in your use and care manual. After cleaning, replace the filter and plug the air conditioner back in.

Other forums say the E1 code is because the AC thinks a button is stuck or because it's dirty, but almost all of them say to use the remote and it'll work ok.

Washer wont drain or run through cycle completely .beeps and flashes error codes. i cleaned out any gunk in the drain hose but still seems like water is sitting in the washer it just has a motor running...

This error is usually due to something getting stuck in the drain pump or drain hose, typically after washing a rug with a rubber backing that has come off or small articles like baby socks that were not put into a garment bag prior to washing. To check the drain pump filter you will need to do the following: Unplug the washer, remove the 3 screws that hold the lower panel on the washer, they are on the bottom lip of the toe panel facing forward. Pull down and out on the panel to remove. You will see a white handle on a round container in the center near the front. Lay out several towels as you will make a mess with out them. Unscrew the cap (left, or counterclockwise) and pull out, the water will run out of the tub, up to a couple gallons depending on what was in there. Clean out the trap in your hand and anything you see inside the filter housing. Put the filter back in and screw in place. If you were able to remove something you may have fixed the problem, if not most likely the drain pump will need replaced. The drain pump is the black component right next to the filter you just removed and cleaned.

F02 Error on Maytag Epic. I have tried drain/spin setting, unplugged machine, waited, plugged in and tried again, it is empty, no visible suds. It says its a drain problem. HOw do I get to the drain on...

I just wanted to confirm stopgo's solution. A few notes/elaborations:

  1. Open the front door of the washer, and run your hand behind the big, gray rubber gasket. You might feel/see small items stuck there.
  2. If you kneel in front of the washer and look along the very bottom edge, you'll see 3 screws in a row. They are of the "torx" type. Unscrew them and then jiggle out the bottom panel. Inside you'll see a large plastic (off-white color) drain, and you can unscrew the 3-inch diameter cap off it and pull it out. The backside of the cap is a filter. Clear it out and put it back in. (We found a baby sock there).
Note also that when you pull out the bottom panel and look inside the cavity of the machine, there is a special manual for service technicians, stuck on the inside wall. I pulled that out -- there were some interesting/helpful information on that sheet telling you how to troubleshoot problems, including checking the drain filter.

Funny that the instructions for checking the drain filter cannot be accessed until you open the bottom panel to check the drain filter!
