Cannot get a clear picture with dish network I have a Clear picture when using DVD

Sometimes the input/channel for the DISH Network and the DVD are different, and if using the same for both, then you will get an unclear picture on one. If at TV1, the tv will need to be on channel 3 or 4, and possibly an input such as video 1 or 2. The DVD player may be on a different input, such as video 3, or even just on channel 3 only. If at TV2, the tv needs to on channel 60 or 73. When using the DVD, try putting the tv on channel 3 or 4, that is normally the channel that the tv needs to be on. Also, make sure that the DVD player is not on while you are trying to watch just the dish.

Projection sets have two very common problems.

The first common problem is convergence

These sets need to have all three colors - RED - BLUE - GREEN - lined up correctly on the screen in order for the picture to look normal. This is called convergence.

When its out of alignment the video will look 3-D, wavy, distorted, etc. Most of the time you just need to adjust your convergence in the menu. If you cannot adjust it in the menu - then your convergence is broken and needs to be repaired. Convergence problems are very common on all Projection TV sets including Sony, Samsung,JVC,Philip Magnavox,Panasonic,Akai,Pioneer, Hitachi,Mitsubishi,Zenith and others.
You can get more information and a DIY convergenece repair kit with instructions from the link below.

Here are some of the most common problems with these sets...

*Screen Looks 3-D
*Colors wont align
*Screen may look distorted or warped
*No Audio/Video - TV Shuts down - May also make a constant chirping sound

Problem #2 - Another common problem is dull or washed out video.

Your set may have one or more of the following symptoms....

*Dull looking picture
*White looking picture
*Halos around objects
*Red/Orange looking picture

EasyCap - ''no input signal or signal is unclear'' Please Help!!!

In the ULead VideoStudio Application. Go to "Capture" tabbed panel. Select "Options" then "Video and Audio Capture Property Settings...". A window should pop up.

In the "Source" tabbed panel. Change the "Input Source" drop down menu to either "Video Composite" or "Video S-Video" depending on whether you are using the yellow or S-Video picture lead.
Change the "TV System" combo-box to PAL for colour and NTSC for black and white. On my computer S-Video option is showing black and white when using my Sky HD box, don't know why this is yet.
Try the above and you should get a picture. You can also change the frame rate and other compression techniques etc.
If it still doesn't work try changing your digital/sky/vcr/xbox picture settings to PAL for colour or others for picture preference.

Hope this helps.

Unclear picture

If the flash is turned off, it will hold the lens open longer.
That's what was causing my pictures to appear blurry.

Even if the subject is way to far away for the flash to be any effect, turning it on made the shutter snap faster and the pictures were clear.

Hope that help :)

Ps 3 no data

Try holding the power on button down until you hear a series of beeps, each one representing your ps3 switching video modes. try this until you get a picture on your screen, then you can use the options to set it to your tv's resolution. I've seen this same problem often from people holding the button when they turn it on :3.

Hope this helps.

No sound or Picture, Just a hissing sound.

well what sounds like happened is you blew up the tube in it. have you unplugged it from the wall and just let it sit some times that helps because what will happen is there will be a Electrical build up and it won't work right. an other thing you might want to do is hit the Degauss button on the remote. plug some sort of video signal into it and go through the inputs to see if that helps, mine did that every thing would just be black but i plug in my video camera it would detect it and make sure that the audio cables are plugged in these TV might just be that old that they have to have both audio and video in order to work.
