To register your Fire tablet outside of the initial setup screens:
From Home, swipe down from the top of the screen and then tap Settings.
Tap My Account.
Tap Register.
If you already have an Amazon account: Enter your Amazon account information, and then tap Continue.
If you do not have an Amazon account: Tap Start Here, and then follow the instructions to set up a new account.
Note: If you've forgotten your Amazon account password, you can reset it by requesting that a personalized "password reset" link be sent to your e-mail address. To learn more, go to Reset Your Account Password .
Go into settings and change the date so it is right. Set it to use internet time or how ever it asks that question. Then restart tablet and try to register again.

Is it possible that your password was reset or changed? A good test is to try and sign online with a computer and check that the information you have is correct. If not you can recover your user name and password by clicking "I forgot" button below the sign in form.
There is something that you can do to start over...But let me be clear.. This Will Wipe Your Kindle Clean. It will UNREGISTER YOU with Amazon. You will be able to reinstall everything, just takes time. To reset your password, Type 111222777 In the password field and tap o.k. Your kindle is wiped clean, you now have to register with Amazon and Download the content again as desired from your Amazon archive.. Hope it helps.. Ellen
Sounds like it could be a problem at Itunes..... I am assuming you enter everything correctly..... you just need a tiny mistake to have it fail...... Space where the shouldn't be... maybe even a . check everything and if you ARE entering correctly ask iTunes.......
your best bet is to backup your actual data on the tablet. Then do a fresh install (formating the drive) instead of repairing. This should let the install go through 100%. If it doesnt then i would look into it being a HD issue. But its better to do the fresh install first. Usually does the trick
