Should find the wiring diagram under or in behind the control panel accessed by removing the 2 screws holding the panel down either in the front lower or rear lower end caps . If you can't see any screw heads there may be removable covers on the end caps from top to bottom . On some newer models you can insert a putty knife under the end caps on the front and depress a clip on either side and the whole control panel lifts and lays back. Before any of that check your fuses at the panel 2-- 30 amp
Unplug the dryer before attempting any repair works.
The bottom front panel is secured to bottom of the top front panel by two securing clips. Insert a flat-bladed screwdriver between the top front panel and the bottom front panel as shown then pry the panel out then lift it off the cabinet.
Install the bottom of the bottom front panel first when reinstalling then push the top back into position until the clips engage.
Hi, You need to remove the two screws at the lint screen. Then use a flat blade srew driver and insert it in the gap between the top and the front panel. Pry the top upward. Locate the screws inside the front panel in the upper corners. After these have been removed, the front panel will come off lifting it up. Now you can see the tub and the belt. If you have the wrapper the belt came in, you should be able to string the new belt. I hope this helps. If I can assist you mmore, please let me know.
On a kenmore conventional dryer they had for a million years the heating element is on the rear of the machine on the right. Some newer models "princess type" have a lower front panel and a heater that just yanks out for easier servicing.
Depending on the type of door the dryer has, is how you approach the
access of these dryers. Mostly though you yank out the filter
first.Remove the 2 screws in the filter housing on top. Then use a putty
knife to pop the top. Remove the screws holding the front panel on.
VERY IMPORTANT! Raise the front up an inch before pulling forward or
the panel clips will break! Some models have a panel on bottom. If they
do then this panel must come off first. Then you remove the door
springs and back off the screws holding down the bottom of the door
panel. Then pop the top and remove the screws on top to get the panel
out so you can replace the door switch and actuator assembly:
