Instal scaner driver and saw explorer show your scaner devise then is ok but this devise is ok

To scan documents on Mac OS X using your HP PSC 1315, you need to download HP's "Device Manager" software which is available here : http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareDownloadIndex?softwareitem=mp-41992-1&lc=en&dlc=en&cc=us&product=374572&os=219&lang=en

I just installed the software and am now scanning problem-free.

I have downloaded the most recent printer driver to my HP PSC 1315--however it still does not communicate with my Readiris OCR scanner software. Help?

1. Windows
2. All Programs
3. Accessories
4. Paint
5. File Menu
6. From Scanner or Camera
7. Scan

Way # 2----Click on the following in this order:
1. Windows
2. All Programs
3. HP
4. HP Solution Center
5. Scan Picture
6. Select File type from file type drop down arrow
7. Scan
8. OK
