Water leaking from engine head bolt, what would cause that to happen?

Some engines had head bolts that went thru water jackets, remove and put sealer on it then torgue back down. Does it overheat? If that doesn't fix needs head gasket.

I would like to know the location of the Idle Control Valve for the 1996 Saturn SL1

there are to eletrical components next to one another. The throttle position sensor and the idle control vavle. They are right where the air supply housing goes into the metal part of the air intake system. Right at the firewall the air intake line, a big rubber hose, attaches to the metal trhottle body. The bottom of the two is the idle control valve. It has an oblong electrical connection and uses a small "torgues" type male wrench to get the two screws out. Torgues is the star shaped screw, rather than a hex head of phillips head type screw.

Torgue specs for head bolts

I would call autozone, in there computer when you ask to purchase a head gasket, they can tell you the order and torque for the head bolts. That is the quickest method to advise. I hope this helps

Head bolts

I'm assuming you meant a 1.8L 4V, if so the torgue settings for the head bolts are
stage 1: 30 ft-lbs
stage 2: 44 ft-lbs
stage 3: Angle-tighten a further 90-degrees
stage 4: Angle-tighten a further 90-degrees

Also I recommend you buy new cylinder head bolts from the vdub dealer, they say you don't have to with a gas engine but only with diesel engines you should, from my past experience it felt like the old bolts were going to snap off to be safe buy new ones. If you have never done this before "stage1" this means each bolt gets this one time, then after you have done each bolt at this torgue then you do the bolts again (stage 2) with this torgue ect. Remmeber to always cris cross your bolting and work from one side to the other the same time for each stage. Vdubs 4-ever !
