Either the drive shaft has broken or come detached from the clutch drum at the motor end or the attachment end.

I have a marklin 3511 locomotive. I wish to know how to determine whether it is digital or analog (both were made). Or whether there is a switch to change between AC/Digital?Analog?

Typically, the 33XX series has the standard 3-pole non-digital motor, the 35XX has the five-pole motor but still is a non-digital locomotive. The 36XX series incorporates the 6080 digital decoder, some of these loco's have the five-pole motor, some have the old 3-pole motor. None of the above
allow you to adjust the running characteristics. This can only be done if the loco is equipped with the newer 6090 decoder, which is identified by the 37XX series.

What's wrong with it?

Switches have more than one pole. Pole to the lights work ... as does the bulb.
Either the poles to the motor or the motor windings are bad. I'd leave that to a repair shop.

A taut telephone wire extends 8 meters from a telephone pole to a stake in the ground 3 meters away. How tall is the telephone pole?

Assuming the wire is at ground level at the stake, the wire is about 7.4 meters above the ground at the pole. How much taller the pole is above that point is unknown given the statement of the problem.

Tw200 electrical schematic

hi
few things
new batteries only hold a little charge in them
so make sure it is fully charged
if your bike is making a clicking noise when you press the starter but is still not turning it is your starter solenoid
if it is making a clicking noise then your starter motor has seized and your solenoid is ok
if not making a clicking noise
it is possible your starter solenoid is broken and will need replacing
easy test is the starter solenoid has two electric poles on it
one going to the battery the other going to your starter motor
get a large spanner (wrench)
and with the ignition turned on
touch both poles with the spanner
("caution") this will spark a little so make sure there is no fuel close by
if the engine turns over
then your solenoid needs replacing

I need a replacement toggle switch for a chipper/shredder.The 1/12 hp motor experiences frequent slow downs, depending on what is being chopped. Sometimes it even stops momentarily, I presume causing...

My friend did a pretty good search for similar toggle

1) He found a 'wall-type' 30Amp DPDT at Global
2) He said he couldn't find others ... but the internet changes.
3) This switch could be mounted in a box that screws to side of chipper. Switch will work fine with 125V.
4) Radio shack and the automotive stores carry 5 amp versions of the DPDT, but they burn up like you said

5) Here is wiring schematic for switch schematic
6) Note: Wiring is different than automotive-type DPDT toggles where power connects to center pole and loads connect to outside poles
-Power on global DPDT connects to poles L1 and L2
-L1 switches to A1 & B1 ... while L2 switches to A2 & B2.
-Poles L1=>A1 and L2=>A2 turn on-and-off at same time

7) In a reverse of the schematic shown above, my friend is using the global switch on 30Amp water heater to switch voltages between 120 and 240 so we know switch can handle the amperage. schematic

Paragon mechanical 7008-00 has 120V clock motor
-8 poles control 1-4 separate 120V loads, with 2 NO Normally Open and 2 NC Normally Closed circuits with max 690 Watts per pole.

Test 120V clock motor:
-Clock motor connects to two far right terminals. Black hot to pole M, White neutral to pole T.
-You should be able to hear clock motor running by putting ear against outside case.
-Clock motor will rotate wheel, if wheel is not rotating, then motor is not running.

Need to reverse polarity

the two poles on this type of motor are for high and low voltage (series and parallel connection) there is no polarity on a.c.(alternating current) motors. if the motor is reversable (an option on some motors) then ther will be a terminal strip in the electrical connection box with jumpers usualy interchanging wires #5 AND #9
