Hi I have a sharp Aquos 60 " tv model# LC-60LE820UN. And I was watching it and it was working fine then when I went to shut it off it won't turn off with remote or on set so I unplugged it. When I plugged it back in it won't turn on nothing no lights flashing nothing remote or on set. I tried unplugging and holding power button on set as I saw you advized someone else to do but still nothing. Thought I would try turning on my amp which tv is connected to through HDMI and the lights in the bottom right corner power button and others light up but still nothing, tried unplugging again and doing the 10 sec hold and when I plugged it back in the lights didn't come back on so I turned off the amp again and lights came back on!!
Check and replace damaged component/s at its main power regulator [SMPS] section circuit. Contact any service technician. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Surf the site with patience. Pull up older posts.

It will be best to replace the power supply regulator board as card basis rather than making "Surgery" to it; which usually will make loss for both money and time. Even though you can make it right, it will cost around an amount equal to the cost of a new board; including the cost of (spare parts + service charge) More to say, most of the spare parts to it will be difficult to get from open electronic spare part market. This is true to most of the flat panel TV power supply boards; irrespective of its brand and screen size.
