Connecting tv to laptop thru the internet no wires

Do you mean amazon fire tv? To get picture from fire tv it can only be connected to hdmi in but laptops have hdmi out. So no go but you can access most content directly from laptop by logging to your prime account. To connect Ethernet to laptop i see no point for that. Ethernet adapter for fire tv is useful when your WiFi is slow and gas to be connected to your router not laptop. That adapter is to get Internet connection which laptop wont provide. You could set your laptop as wirelease bridge but it doesn't make sense since it won't provide faster Internet connection and since you asked question about wired Ethernet I assume that computer networking is not.your hobby.

Mostly only a SMART tv will connect to the internet. The instruction book will tell you more. The presence of an RJ45 socket should indicate possible internet capability.

Some tv top boxes will provide limited internet connectivity for older tv's for the purpose of catch-up tv and internet only tv channels.

Most tv sets can be linked to a desktop or laptop computer to provide full internet coverage on a large screen.

The easiest way is to connect your laptop to your TV using a VGA connector and turning your TV into a 46" Monitor...Unfortunately, Your TV does not come with a VGA Connector.It does, however, come with HDMI inputs....and unfortunately, your laptop does not have any HDMI outputs.
What i would suggest is to buy a VGA to HDMI convertor...The downside to this is that you're going to have a cable stretching from your laptop to your TV.

To remedy that, I would suggest getting a wireless keyboard and mouse, and setting the laptop somewhere near the TV, and kick back on the couch.
Now, to take care of the Audio part, Audio does not go through the VGA to HDMI adapter, and your TV doesn't seem to have an 1/8" Audio In...If it did, and you have a set of decent speakers (Wired or Wireless) you can connect them to your laptop and get sound that way.

They both have to have the same type of connection such as VGA or HDMI or connect a cable between them otherwise you will need some type of interface between them to make the connection.

Once you have the cables connected, get the tv remote and press Select Input to tell it where the signal is coming from (PC, VGA, HDMI). Reboot the laptop and the image will appear on the tv.

The video will show on most systems when you reboot without you having to do anything. Some systems will require you to hit the FN (Function key) + F1 thru F12. Hold down the FN key then hit the correct key for displaying on the monitor (F1 thru F12). The correct key will normally have CRT/LCD on it or it will have the icon of a display.

Try positioning your computer next to the router - or within line of sight of the router - see if the limited connectivity thing comes up. It probably won't. Then try placing your laptop at the same spot where your roommate(s) normally uses his or hers or their computers and see if that makes any difference.

Wireless signals can go thru walls, or bounce off of anything that it can't go thru - so we're all trying to catch a good bounce and hence, location matters a lot. Sometimes moving a wireless router can make a huge difference - like moving it from behind the TV to above the TV for better broadcasting (cause the signal ain't gonna go thru a TV's power supply). Anyway, that'd be how I'd go about troubleshooting this issue....

One of 2 things offhand. #1 Tighten the Hinge screws, many systems ground the LCD thru the hinges and if they get loose, lose some connectivity. #2 Reseat the LCD cable and inspect the cable where it passes thru the hinge assy for chafing and broken wires

Without using an wifi or wireless is you are going to the UTP Wires "LAN WIRES" provided that this wires is connected with HUB or Router. That's the basic procedure on how to connect without wifi.

3. Click the Sharing tab, and then select the Allow other network users to connect through this computer’s Internet connection check box.
   

repair the conection and also try a diffrent ethernet wire sometimes it could be bad
