Are you nuts? Nobody is giving away 24Billion! Are you paying fees to get your prize?
Here's from the REAL PCH sweepstakes website:
Recently we've been hearing reports that scammers are accessing and using the names of our real PCH employees in their criminal attempts to deceive you.Names you've come to know and recognize such as Dave Sayer, Todd Sloane and Danielle Lam - all real members of our famous PCH Prize Patrol.Even the name of Deborah Holland, our Executive Vice President whose name appears in PCH promotional mailers, has been hijacked and illegally used by scammers. If you are ever contacted by someone claiming to represent PCH, or claiming to be one of our employees, and asked to send or wire money (for any reason whatsoever, including taxes); or send a pre-paid gift card or Green Dot Moneypak card in order to claim a sweepstakes prize - DON'T!It's a SCAM. If you are sent a check, told it's a partial prize award, and asked to cash it and send a portion back to claim the full prize award, DON'T.The check is fake, but the SCAM is real!
I tried a link to PCH Sweepstakes F R A U D protection page, but for some #$*@%! reason the word F R A U D was turned into ***** by the Fixya site.
Go here and click on Read More button under F r a u d protection. http://info.pch.com/
Hi Sandra:
PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE,
DO NO TRUST ANYONE WHO SAYS THAT YOU HAVE WON A PRIZE!
There are a LOT of dishonest people out there who think nothing of scamming people.
If you really think that you have won something, contact the company and ask for the customer service department, and explain the situation to them.
NEVER give out personal or bank information, and DO NOT SEND ANY MONEY if they ask for it.
PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE!
The feed dogs are
driven by the feed driver mechanism, turn the hand-wheel forward and the
feed dogs will come up. (Providing you have the feed dog switch to the
up position).
Hi:
This is a scam. Do not reply to it. If you reply, they will ask for your banking info to "deposit " your prize , or credit card info, and you will get your account cleaned out! Congrats for not responding to them immediately!
