If it has gone into Safe Mode, then most likely something serious is amiss with your machine. Consult your owner's manual in the Troubleshooting Section for suggestions to resolve your problem. Short of resolving the problem yourself, it may be wise to take it in for service...

The power is on...the light works and the red indicator lights work, but nothing happens when I press the foot control

Is it in wind bobbin mode? Old machines you pop the wheel on the right side in or out. New fangled machines you slide the bobbin spool back into sew position.Good luck!

How to get brother pr600 out of main motor test mode?

Looks like the machine is bound up, or the motor is failing. If the hand wheel is easy to turn then it is probably the motor drawing too much current.
Brother recommends a new motor and belt every 1500 hours of run time.

My kenmore model 1318 just "locked up"; was sewing just great & all of a sudden, nothing

it's possible that a part has broken and the motor also could have went out,, it would be a good to have the machine checked

My babylock ellure won't work on the embroidery mode, but works on the sewing mode. I only use this machine for embroidery. When I turn it on it tells me to lift the pressor foot, which I do, but nothing...

Ours did the same thing. They said it was the circuit board for embroidery that went bad. The one for sewing is still good. They wanted $200 to $300 to replace it.

Undo the screw in the stop motion wheel, then unscrew the stop motiuon wheel, turn the 3 pronged washer intoi a different position, put the stop motion back and the stop motion screw and test, if that does not work move the washer again.

Hand wheel won't turn

I continued to try to get the bobbin out. I finally decided to break it out. Once it was out I tried pulling the case out so I could see if anything was jammed underneath. It took a lot of work but it finally popped out like the manual said it should. I cleaned it out, nothing really dirty, no thread jams. When I went to put it back together I noticed that the way to put it back was not the way the case was sitting when I took it out. So I figure that my son must have jammed it and somehow knocked the bobbin case out of alignment. I put it back in correctly and it works just fine now!
