SOURCE: when i try to charge my battery the red light keeps flashing
Could be battery or charger. 1. Buy new battery. Still in trouble? 2. Get new charger Its good to have two batteries
SOURCE: Camera will not charge the battery
This isn't the best soulution but it worked for me. I cleaned off the contacts on the battery and when I placed it back in the camera I put a small piece of a thick rubber band under the door and closed it. This forced the battery farther onto the camera terminals and I was able to get a full charge on the battery.

Hi I am Vortah The red light is usually an indicator that the battery is charged however in this instance as you are saying it isn't the battery has possibly gone short and you will need to replace the batteries . They have a type of internal memory and only charge a certain amount of times before they no longer accept charge and merely overheat during charging .. But I have to say it may be possible the charger is faulty as if the internal rectifier that charges the battery has gone short that may also bring the red light on in some chargers .. so try the battery or as I would do take it along to your nearest dealers and get them to check it . it may save you money in the long run you could be buying a battery you still cant use when you actually need a charger .. All right if you have the same problem that i had what you need to do is take the battery out the take the memory card out the put the battery back in then try and turn it on if it works then put the memory card back in and it should be fixed

Fuse F351 has possibly blown on the board. It is a 2.5A 32v UL type surfacemount fuse which is soldered to the board. The fuse has a coded letter on it for identification. Recomend you find someone who knows electronics to repair
