Question about Toshiba 55L7200U 55-Inch 1080p 3D LED HDTV
When you turn it on you get the red Toshiba logo on the screen, the power led is flashing green, then after a while the screen goes black and then the Toshiba logo comes back, it does this over and over and over, i let it sit there for a couple hours trying to power up and got nowhere with it.
Those flashes are fault indications. http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/ Visit the site linked here to get more details. Search the site by type in the brand name of your device in the search box at the top right of the display window to get gathered all the related posts.

Save hours of searching online or wasting money on unnecessary repairs by talking to a 6YA Expert who can help you resolve this issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.

Had the same problem myself. Took some doing but I managed to find a service bulletin that I downloaded. The problem is with the siene module and all you need to do is unplug connector JP63A from the main board and your TV will work again.
Take the back off the TV (there are a lot of screws) and look on the left hand side of the main circuit board that is mounted in the center of the TV. You will see a small white connector that is labelled JP63A, simply unplug it. Plug the TV back in and let it reboot. That's it, should be able to watch immediately.

Part of the power supply is in protect mode. There is most likely a short or something failed on one or more of the boards.
The service rep would swap out boards to locate the fault. Then he would leave the new board(s) in the set, and perform any necessary adjustments.
Take the set in for an estimate before approving repairs. There are many times these sets are not worth serving when they are out of warranty.

If the tv doesn't reset after being unplugged awhile, there's an internal problem, and the unit will have to be serviced. Make sure the cable input isn't loose, and that the cable cord is good. Aside from that, there's not much you can do. Some cities have mobile TV repairmen that will service the unit in your home, and it's much more convenient. Look in your Yellow Pages under TV Repair.
Good luck, and hope this helps.
