I did email Sizzix but they won't answer until during regular business ... If you turnedoff the cutter, then start again, it should work properly.
Turning off the grid lines and plus signs on the mat.

For a more detailed explanation. I cleaned my eclips last night. When I took the blade part out I moved the blade cartridge over to clean behind it made the power light flicker on the power button. I think the problem is at the point where you connect the lead from the plug to the machine. I don't know if it's the socket on the machine where you connect the power supply. I wonder if the power cord has been plugged in too hard. I tried to look at this by cleaning. I got it to switch on for a second. It made the 1st noise like the eclips makes when turning it on.
