Sounds to me like your HDD has gone Tango Uniform. On a 452 I would find a 40GB HDD somewhere for cheap, slap it in and then follow the directions in the Service Manual (probably can find it by googling) You'll also need a copy of the latest firmware (SYSTEM 356 on that model). Good luck!
