It would help if you had identified the guitar maker and location of the serial number. I assume it's a Yamaha, but the serial number doesn't coincide with any of the typical systems they used. The first two numbers could be the year of manufacture, but the earliest Yamaha I could find was 1966, so you may want to go direct to Yamaha and ask if they recognize the number based on the model number.Yamaha Corporation of America

These are actually (unfortunately) unavailable for purchase, but if you take it to any local guitar tech, they'll be able to make you a new one from a saddle blank. It shouldn't cost more than $20.

What you have listed is an invalid serial number. If you go to:

http://www.yamaha.com/apps/guitararchives/guitarserial.htm

you can type in the serial number and get your answer.

supported here and those formats offer no clue as to where these guitars where made.

The serial numbers repeat evry 10 years... you have to know what decade is likely thenfrom the Yamaha wizard: Your guitar was made on
January 15th, 1985, 1995
or 2005

Your guitar was made in either 1963,1973, 1983 on Feb 06 the 49th unit that day.

I saw other things saying around 31 years old for the F335's so it probably is either the 1973 or the 1983 vintage... the serial numbers repeat every 10 years.
