I bought my Sharp Aquos 46 LCD 1080p 60hz as the floor model. When i got home, i noticed that i was not able to calibrate the color/brightness settings as it was fixed to "dynamic" settings. It will not allow me to calibrate the tv at all. Is there a special service code to unlock these settings and calibrate to my liking? Thanks D

You Can Not Change. The TV Recognize the signal on the INPUT.
If the signal is 480i than the tv shows 480i
If the signal is 1080p than the tv shows 1080p (if supported)
If you try with your areal antenna (for now digital broadcast is maximum 1080i (in USA) The TV itself doesnt "upconvert" lower resolution signals.
Sorry, you have a defective LCD panel. If your TV is still under warranty, contact Sharp to get the TV exchanged. Otherwise, LCD panels cost more than the TV is worth.
I might have a copy of the TV manual. What is the model number of your TV?
