Drill slips when in forward drill mode, sounds like a gear is grinding on another gear. Does not slip in reverse or in hammer mode.

Under heavy load, driver slips, makes grinding noise. How to fix?

Sounds like the gears are worn out. Not worth fixing. But if you buy a drill that uses the same battery pack, now you will have a spare battery and charger.

Mower slips in and out of forward gear but rides perfect in reverse; What do I need to adjust?

Reverse is a different gear set than forward gears. Sounds like forward gear set has a broken tooth. Not an easy fix.

I have a 91 honda accord with an automatic trans. & when i shift into reverse it refuses to engage & makes a high pitch gear slipping grinding sound ! NOT GOOD ! ,I just replaced the transmission con

Definitely not good. The transmission is slipping internally due to worn gears and clutch packs. It will have to come out for rebuilding, IMO. Have a transmission shop check it out.
Good luck.

Gears slip when drilling in all speeds although 3rd is the worst it applies to al setting settings as well screw, drill, or hammer. i've taken it apart the gears and visible parts are all fine none are...

As long as the shifter is fully engaging then you will need to replace the transmission. It comes as one complete assembly. Here is a diagram with part numbers. The trans is part #125433-9 (reference number 12) and is just over $53

Clutch slips reguardless of setting, in both drill and hammer mode. won't drill. is this a transmittion problem?

You can get the part replaced with metal gearing and clutch and that shouldn't happen again, but the cost may not be worth it

Cannot remove bit from chuck brother-in-law put a small phillips head bit in the chuck

try to jam the chuck so its open. Put the forward and reverse so that it is slipping (like a grinding gear sound) and hold the drill upside down. If that doesn't work ,buy a screw extractor kit.

My dewalt slips bad in the drill mode whiile i am drilling in hard material the drill slips real bad and it also does it in the hammer mode. Is that normal

Check the speed selector switch. if it is not fully engaged (usually because of dirt) the gears will slip. cycle the switch a few times.

My drill bit doesn't remain secure in the chuck of my drill.

grind bits shank in a triangle to let the drill chuck get a better hold of bit but be carfule because this also takes away the drills ability to slip if it hits something solid.
