To connect your netbook to internet you need to open the settings icon on your netbook. Switch on the wifi button and scan the internet provider you wish to connect.

This helps most ppl, get your code.com that's a link nextbooks activation site to get your code(automated) or argue with a rep if you like. :/ Also, the DiSa number they want is your serial number. should be on the back cover, if not, hold volume down and power buttons on startup til u see the NEXTBOOK logo, then let off power. the next screen that comes up will have it displayed there. Make sure you type in your router's password absolutely correct. It is possible the nextbook's wifi radio is defective, too.

No, the tablet does not support any type of phone services and has no slit for sim cards.

Can you get on the internet ok? Maybe there's a problem with your internet connection.

Unless you have a network cable plugged in that is the only way it will work.

Open your nextbook`s internet browser > tap bookmarks > history then you can view your device`s history

You connect your Nextbook to YOUR WiFI HOME NETWORK (not the Internet) FROM THE NEXTBOOK, not from the laptop. On your Nextbook, go to Settings then Wi-Fi. If your Nextbook is already connected to your WiFi home network you will see the network's name there and you are done. If it is not connected, a list of available WiFi networks appears. Tap on the name of your home network and it will connect to it. If your network is password-protected, you will be asked to enter it.

Nextbook 8 will not turn on

You have checked that you are joined to the network via the router?
The laptop most certainly is.
Try disconnecting the router and turning the Nextbook off for a few seconds, connect the router on again and open Nextbook.
Join the network again and put the password in.
This way of connecting has worked for me. Hope it will for you.
