A shadow copy is a type of backup. If you have not been backing up you may not have one. If you want to restore the system to factory default you can try F10 as it boots up.
Need a little more info but if you are using a laserjet printer shadows or duplicate images usually come from worn out rollers in your fuser. Depending on your model fusers are available by themselves or as part of a maintenance kit. Replace the fuser and that should take care of the problem.
it is because your card is formated as FAT ( this means that you can only store small files on it ). To fix this do the following
1. open my computer
2. right click on th sd card
3. press format
4. in format select fat32 instead of fat
5. click format (you will lose all data currently on the card)
6. when it is finished you should be able to copy files onto it
The drive you are trying to backup to has run out of space, you need to make sure your backup drive/partition has enough room available for the backup your trying to run.
Run a page with the cover or document feeder open. Just a solid black page. If the shadow runs completely edge to edge on the paper, your problem is in the drum unit or less likely the fiser.. If the there is a clean edge delete, then the problem is either dirty scanner mirrors or the laser. It is far less likely in the optical/laser system but still likely. I tend to believe the problem is in the drum unit.
is the shadow off set from the original image?
if so it could be the cleaning unit for the fuser (heater) may have to be changed. If the cleaner does not clean the fuser rollers a residual image will be passed onto the page.
Happened to me too in both file backup and computer backup. I supposed
MS will address in the future. For now, go to the system settings and
unchecked the drives so they no longer create shadow copies . Apply the new settings to erase all existing shadow
copies. Then reset by checking the boxes you unchecked. Now try to
backup the whole computer again. It appears a shadow copy error is
conflicting with the backup process. Once you delete all shadow copies
(restore points) it will work.
