Try checking the pin switches in the door jambs if you have no power to these items with the door open i would lean toward the pin switches being stuck or bad ground or broken not an uncommon problem

Open door chimes and keys left in in car chimes plus left on chimes not working question what operates chimes door lock ?

Door left open chime is operated by your interior light switch. It is located in a few places on different vehicles. Often in the door jam at the front or low down on the pillar at the rear of the door. You will notice a little black rubber boot and when you push it it goes in and out. That is your interior light switch.

The interior lights in my 2000 Ford F250 will not turn off. How can I get the lights to turn off?

Just to get the interior lights off to save your battery, you could pull the fuse. Refer to the service manual to determine the proper fuse.

To fix the problem, i would suspect one of the door switches is faulty.

Door chime and courtesy light (under side mirror)

You have broken wires in the flexable harness between the door and the body. Pull the rubber boot back to inspect.
