It is possible that your camera driver has become corrupted and you may need to factory reset your tablet. I am more then happy to provide a step by step instruction on how to do so, if that does not resolve the issue then you may need to look more hardware related.
If you need to replace the camera you may be better off with purchasing a new device as most cameras are proprietary and very costly to replace.
