How to set the date in sector sge 650 2653960035 watch? Thanks.

Unscrew crown. Some models of Sector Sport watches may have a screw down crown. Watches meant to be used in water will often have this feature. To test this try spinning the crown freely in both directions. If it does not spin freely it has a screw down crown. If your Sector has a screw-down crown, turn it in a counter clockwise motion to unscrew it until it pops free.

Pull crown out one click and set date. If the watch has a date perform this step, if not move on to the next step. Pull the crown out one click. Twist crown clockwise and counter clockwise to set the day and date to the previous days day and date. The purpose of this is to set the date by setting the time and insuring the watch is in the correct a.m. and p.m. mode.

Pull crown out to the next click and set time. Pull the crown out the to next click. This is the time setting mode. Set the time by turning the crown clockwise until the day or date changes to the current date. This is the a.m. mode. Continue to the correct time. If it is a p.m. time this will require moving one full circuit of the dial past the twelve again and then to the correct time. If you fail to do this, the date will change at noon. If there is no date, simply set it to the correct time.

Push in and screw down crown to retain water resistance. Push crown down into its furthest setting. If it is a screw-down crown, press the crown in with a finger and twist it clockwise. Be careful here not to cross thread the crown in the crown tube or it will need to be replaced. It should be smooth and easy to turn. If any pressure or resistance is felt stop and start over. If you fail to screw in a screw down crown your Sector Sport watch will not be water resistant.

I need a Crown for my nike watch

mcdevito75 here, Best bet, look for a small watch repair shop in your area for a replacement crown. If the crown broke off however, you need a new crown and stem.

Hi, One of the hands has fallen off my Skagen watch; the crystal will have to be removed to re-attach it. Who can do it, and for how much?

Just about any qualified jewler that sells watches will either be able to do the work or refer you to someone that can. The crystal shouldnt have to be removed. The case back comes off and then a retainer ring of plastic or metal comes off. The crown is removed and the movement should come out. I wouldnt suggest you try it yourself as jewlers use special tools and jigs to attach hands. Cost shouldnt be too bad depending on the jewler.

The second hand has fallen off. I just want to put it back. How do access the face best?

Typically you need to remove the caseback. Then remove the crown and stem. Then you can remove the movement from the case to replace the hand.

Smith and Wesson H3

Look at the back of the movement, as you pull out the knob ( the crown) you should see either to the left of the crown (in the movement) or one the outside of the movement (a little lower) you should see a piece of metal that moves every time you pull in and out. It also should have a little dimple on it ( it is called the detent). Take a pin(or something that small) and as you pull out the crown GENTLY push in on it, this should release the stem and crown. Then you should be able to take out the movement and fix the hands. When you are done GENTLY push the stem and crown back into the movement. If you find you have any problems PLEASE let me know, I will be glad to go over it with you as you do it. Good Luck!!!
