There is a problem with the programming of the control board if this is occurring.

All you can do is turn off the water to the machine at the end of the full cycle and then run the spin cycle again to dry out the clothes. Then no water can enter the wash drum.

Otherwise you would need to turn off the water each time before the spin cycle concluded and thus before the machine began adding water again.

My washer is not spinning clothes dry and the end of the cycle. Everything is soaking wet, what can I do?

is the pump free to spin? when the pump operates(when it spins) is the water getting out? something like a sock may have got past the drum into pipe that joins to pump allowing only some water to escape

My indesit 6105 does not finish with a final spin but everything else works and the drum spins up to this point. This means that the clothes come out very wet

There is fault on the final spin as it fails to dry or drain off the water from the clothes. It is possible that the RPM for the spin is not adequate or the timing is short. Please choose a different program to confirm. Also check for free movement of the drum or else use a de-greaser to the drum spindle bearing assembly.

I have a WSXH208 ge front loader It started to fill was and then in the middle the water pumped out but did not finish and clothes were sopping wet, Drum stopped spinning. what could be wrong

all front loaders will not go into high spped spin if there is water in the tub.You should first remove the bottom panel and check the water pump for blockage. Some units have a sscrew style filter to catch debris befor it enters the pump impellor.when you unscrew the filter make sure you have a wet vac handy.

Knocking from the drum

You really should realize that when clothes get wet, they get heavy. If those heavy clothes are sticking to one place on the drum it will be out of balance and knock at the sides of the washer. If this happens, simply open the door (not when the washer is full of water, of course) and the drum will stop spinning. Just spread the wet stuff around the drum surface and close the door...voila!

Our ge GBVH5200J2WW front load washer quits in the middle of the cycle, do you have any ideas why?

I thnk I already had this question but here goes .If your clothes are very wet then you pump is stopped up .Check for codes when it stops . If your clothes are very wet then your pump is stopped up .Take off the bottom panel 2 philips head screws ,loke insie you will see a rubber thing hooked to the bottom of the tub and the othe end will be hooked to the pump take off the hose going to the pump JUST THE END NOT THE WHOLE THING but t wont hurt if you pull the WHOLE thing off because I have found a sock stuck in the ttub but look in the small end and you will see a small sock wash cloth panties (I have daughters ) it happen alot . Ifthat is not the back to the Very wet clothes then it might just be a low water pressure check your screens on the inside of end of the supply hoses CUT OFF THE WATER !!! check the screens they do get dirty take thm out get some new ones. Good Luck

The machines drum is not turning. Draws in water but does not turn. Seems to pump out water too but clothes were very wet in bottom of drum.

Usually the impeller blade on the water pump is impeded; stopped from turning. Coins, favourite is hair clips, etc.
UNPLUG THE MACHINE FROM THE MAINS.

Undo the flap; bottom right, drain water out through small plastic tube..you can yank about a foot of it out (curled up inside) when drained, you're going to get some spillage have a cloth ready.

Undo the big threaded bung (anti-clockwise) some water don't worry... you will see the impeller up at the end of the channel the bung came from; you should see two blades and any obstruction stopping blades from turning...

Hook whatever out with your finger, spin the blades for full rotations; check inlet and outlet; up by the impeller, make sure the holes are clear as far as you can feel with your finger tip. you're DONE.

Shove the little plastic tube back into it's hole and locate the end in it's retainer.; put the bug back in (clock-wise).

My clothes are sopping wet when the wash has finished and there is water at the bottom of the drum. I can sort it by taking clothes out, bailing out the water and then re-spinning the clothes twice to get...

Sounds like a blocked outlet pipe. It may be possible that a small item of clothing i.e. sock or baby item may be stuck between the drums and occasionally moves over the outlet from the drum causing the blockage, hence only happens once in a blue moon. To see if you can see if there is something between the drums use a flashlight to help you look through the holes in the inner drum to see if there's a stray sock or something that can be moving around between the drums and covering the outlet. If there is then you will have to remove the outlet pipe from the bottom of the drum to try and remove the item that is causing the blockage, check all the way around the drum as it may be stuck to the inner drum at the time. If no item is found between drums then the blockage may be in the outlet pipes (both sides of the pump) or in the pump. Check these also as it may even be a small button or coin creating a blockage if it is moving around.

Maytag model LA- 510 washer. Not spinning fast enough, Clothes come out too wet and water sometimes left in bottom of drum. Belts were changed. No help. Also, machine makes a large ''clunk'' sound at end...

the cluncking sound is not a brake system since there are no brakes, but the stabilizer of the drum. as when it stops turning the whole weight of the drum 'hangs' on the stabilizers. That might also be the problem with not spinning fast enough, although I think that its not spinning fast enough because there's too much water inside. I would check the drain hose and drain filter, either one of these two are clogged up, and therefor not letting the water out.
hope you'll find the problem soon.
friendly greetings............Gilbert.
