Chime comes on and back lights come on then a relay on the power board clicks and back lights go off then it chimes again and back lights go on and it keeps cycling like this. Sometimes the picture will come on all grainy and cycle again. I disconnected the T Con Board and it keep doing the same thing with no picture. Could it be the power board or the main board. Capacitors replaced a while back on power board.

Apparently this is a known problem with flat panel TVs made a few years ago due to bad capacitors in the power supply. This same problem appeared in computer mother boards at about the same time so that the capacitors went open or shorted causing problems. There is videos on You Tube that addresses this problem see: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZccykxrtX9g as a starting point and look around for other repairs

It is the Main A/V board that is faulty, not the power supply. The rainbow screen that you are seeing and the searching for signal message before it shuts off confirms this. It is the large board at the center of the tv. If you can get me the part number off it, I can find you the replacement. It will be either printed on the board itself or on a small label.
Sai.
