Load or reload, if you are reloading after firing a round you have a swelled case. Anyway whether it is empty or not you should go to a gun smith. Safety first.

Sounds to me like the pump is not operating up to par. Open the machine and check all the drain lines form the tub to the pump, from the pump to the waste pipe and also, when you check the tub to pump line, feel up into the tub to make sure you don't have a article of clothing stuck in there. Check the inside of the pump too. Here is a link to a video to show you how to access the pump and lines.
The loading port is on the bottom of the reciever. You mention that it is "magazine ready"? Mossberg shotguns have a tublular magazine underneath the barrel, surrounded by the action bar and front grip.
Loading the magazine entails holding the shotgun in one hand, taking the shell in the other with the folded end facing the front end of the barrel. Place the shell in the magazine opening (on the bottom) and push it up with your fingers and forward with the thumb of the same hand. It will go completely forward of the silver/blue lifter and stay there when you let go. (the action must be closed to load the magazine).
Alternately, you can open the action and pop a shell into the ejection port on the right side, close it back up, and shoot!
You load one pellet at a time when the barrel is broken open, the chamber is in the break of the barrel. One stroke, load, close, shoot, keeps you in shape. the old Sheridans, 10 pumps, really kept you in shape.
Unscrew the barrel insert from the barrel and pull it out. There is a sliding tab that you have to slide towards the end of the barrel insert so that it can be loaded. On the smaller side of the insert, about half way down is the loading hole. Fill with about 20 BB's. Release the tab and carefully put the barrel insert back into the barrel and tighten till snug. Should be ready to go.
first you got to empty washer by manual, get a bowl on to the floor then pull the drain pipe out of the pipe that goes outside or from under the sink, empty washer this way then the door will open,as it wont open as a result of it having water in it,when you have done this make sure you check your motor bushes,im sure that they have worn, just replace them at a cost of £10.00,they are easy to replace.rgrds paul
Are you trying to say it will not c.o.c.k.? (dang sensors.) If so, you have to slap the barrel pretty hard toward the front or tip of it. Hold gun firmly and bang that barrel good with the palm of your hand. It should then break open the barrel and be ready to load and shoot again.
