My T.V has a almost white screen that looks like a photo negative.I was told it might be the main board or T-CON board or possibly something else. What could be causing this issue?

Thank you very much. I looked at mine and it seems to have bonded tabs instead of clips, i'm not sure if it's replaceable.

I have a Dynex 32 LCD that I can only see the top half of the picture, the bottom half/40% looks like rainbow lines. What are the possible problems and how do I fix it.

Unfortunately what you have is a fried screen. Toss it at the city dump and get a new TV. Wallmart has 36 and 45 inch TV's for under 300 dollars

Ok t-con board is connected to main board which is giving signal and logic supply.. If the main board failed or giving a over voltage to the t-con it possibly your T-con gone out (new) again.

To isolate the problem try to replace the main board.

Sharp Lc-26sb24u white screen with sound

You will get a white screen when you unplug the t-con from the main board. Doing so removes power to the LCD panel. Verify that all of your voltages from the power supply are correct. If they are, I'd look at the t-con board. It sounds like there is a problem with the t-con that is pulling down the main board.

My vizio tv has a white screen and then when the image comes in it is gostly looking like film negative any ideas what board needs to be replaced thank you

I would suspect either the main board or the t-con board, with the main being the most likely cause. Without an oscilloscope its going to be hard to isolate between the two. Most commonly its the main pcb. The main will have the tuner mounted to it where the rf cable is connected.

The screen is white.power is on, simply no picture, white screen

Hi:
This could be cause by one to two areas of the unit, first the T-CON board may be bad and second the main system board has failed. The t-con is used to produce the picture on the screen it gets its data from the digital board or system control board. The screen is white because the inverter board is working to light up the lamps.
