There are no capacitors or components to replace in this repair. Locate a flat shiny square box (location (TM801S). This is the transformer that illuminates your TV Screen. Next, find leg connection EYA4, turn the board over and find a poor solder connection there. Clean the dried rosin core solder flux (looks like syrup). Scrape an area next to this pin (green paint on board) to expose some copper (next to pin). You will add solder to this and connect to create a good ground. May as well do EYA5, as this looks like a possible problem. Install power supply and your TV will come back to life. Thanks for asking, Matt of Martins TV Repair.

I would suspect a problem in either the backlight assembly, or the power supply that drives it. If it's the power supply, the part may be over $100.

The T-Con bd is probably going bad. Also the Main bd could be bad. Have a trained samsung tech troubleshoot the set.

This model have a common problem, it on and off cycles, and you can hear the turn on sound repeat. It is the main board failure, you can replace it, the part # you can see a sticker on the board, the format is like BN99-99999C. cost approx $120.

Th clicking is from the power relay. You will have to open it up, the first place to look will be the power supply module, look to see if it has any bad caps with leaking/bulging tops first, caps can look OK but can be bad due to high ESR.

If you want to DIY this TV you need to open the back cover of your TV 9BE SURE TO UNPLUG THE UNIT BEFORE SERVICING) Examine first the power supply section.using a voltage tester measure the output of it.
5v for the CPU board
12v for the sound amplifier
24 v for the inverter board/backlight.
if one of this voltage is missing then you need to repair first the power supply.measure first this voltages and post a message for further assistance.
