Hi Ingridchow , I want to help you with your question, but I need more information from you. Can you please add details in the comment box? Hello. Normally I would instruct you on how to access the inside of the dryer(you asked this question previously with no model number--now that I know what you have, due to the complexity of accessing the blower system, call for service. This is an INVOLVED REPAIR requiring a trained svc tech--if the tool has indeed fallen down into the blower(where the lint filter goes)

How do I access the drum on a frigidaire gallery series dryer gceq2152eso.

Thank you for your post, friend!

Based off the information you have provided you would like to access the drum on your Frigidaire dryer. I noticed you stated that the videos online are not the same as the model you currently own. I would suggest if you are having difficulty with accessing your drum you should speak with a professional technician. He will have the appropriate tools and knowledge how to properly disassemble your dryer so that it does not cause any future issues. Best of luck! -Matt

Dryer drum turns but not as easily as before is there a trick to putting it back in and putting the door on

Around the opening of the dryer drum is a felt lined lip (other materials may be used too). This can become clogged with hair and lint. In extreme cases things can get wedged in there (shoelaces, for example).

You could remove the access panels and examine this if you have the tools.

If that's not the problem, you may be looking at a bad drive belt. They do tend to wear out. This can be checked while the access panels are off too.

If neither of these is the case, you may need to bring in a technician to do some deeper tests.

TRYING TO REMOVE FRONT Drum won't turn swallowed sock thru lint trap

The sock is binding in the blower wheel which in turn stops the motor.
Unplug the dryer and turn off the gas supply. Look down at the very bottom of the front panel to find and remove the 2/3 screws across the bottom. Pull the bottom of the front panel out then down to release the clips holding it to the top cover. This will give to access to the other parts to retrieve your sock.

Baffle is loose on drum. How do we get access to fix the baffle

The screws that hold the drum baffles in place are located along the outside of the drum. Usually, you need to lift the dryer top in order to access them, and they can be tightened without removing any components. However, all dryers are not contructed the same and access to the drum can vary. If you would please post a brand name and model number it would help in being able to determine exactly how your dryer is configured.

Drum Not Spinning

Probably is a belt issue. It'll take two people to change. You'll have to take the front off to access the drum and be mindful of the belt route. Good luck.

DRYER FIN IN DRUM IS COMING LOOSE

Unplug the dryer, remove the door hinge screws that go into the cabinet and the two screws on the opposite side of the door opening, then the front panel can be removedby starting at the top. Once the front is off, there are two screws, one to each side that hold the top on, remove these and raise the top. You can rotate the drum by hand and the baffles are held on by the screws on the outside of the drum. Reassemble in reverse order.

Whirlpool Ultimate Care II - Gas Dryer - Drum Won't Spin

If you are handy with tools, try to remove the back panel and feel the belt that should surround the drum. If access is that limited, try to turn the dryer on its side and you can get to the motor from the bottom. But like the guy said before, call a pro if you can't do any of this.

I have a CTD40 Aquarius Dryer and an underwire from a bra has worked its way into the back of the drum through the dryer holes at the back of the drum. Is there an easy way into it to retrieve the item as...

take a pair of tweezers and a flashlight and turn the drum slowly around trying to see it and grab it with the tweezers to pull it out through one of the holes.
