ISN'T GETTING COLD NEED TO KNOW HOW TO ADD FREON PLEASE ?

I don't know how old your freezer is. These freezes can run for decades. About the only thing that will go wrong with them are, leaky freon which isn't producted anymore. It a against the law to own, product, distribute, black market it and freon based the R series, such as, R12, R16 etc. If this happen to your Admiral Freezer I don't think the make a retro-fit kit for it for modern day coolent 134a and some others.

If the conpressor is working and no rattles an it keeps food item frozen to about 14 or 16 below zero and it appearance is striking. I would it's awesome!! $50 to $125 max... GB stewbison

My freezer has a light that says "high temp" but the freezer isn't freezing my products.....what can I do? It also says that the temp has been 23 degrees or higher for more than 1 hour. I really don't think that the problem is being in hot weather

dear sir,
please make sure first your freerzer,s condesore is clean and fan motor and compressor is running. if its alredy clean and working then try to check amount of refrigarant in your freezer. i think its need to refill freon gas.

In case the freezer not getting cold. maybe the tube is leaking .the freon gas scape. or your compessor is defective

Either the compressor is failing or it has lost some freon which means there is a leak. The sealed system needs serviced.

you dont want to add any more freon to it to start with

it either has to much in it or the thermostat is not turning it off and making it run to long, you need to see what temperature you are getting in the freezer and what suction pressure the unit is running on to determine if it is over charged
