Hi there. The WPA password is the one used for your router's protection. If the PS3 says that it the key entered is wrong, this definitely means that you have input the wrong WPA password and maybe tried to put another password.
The best thing to for this is to simply reset your password of your router and make sure to know exactly how you spelled it then simply input the new password into the PS3.
There have been no reports of Facebook suffering network-wide problems with password resets - they simply can't afford to have such issues anyway. I'm assuming you're doing something wrong on your end. Make sure you type in the required information exactly as it is provided to you - most codes and passwords are case sensitive, so capital letters might be important.
If this fails, try contacting the Facebook helpdesk - they have direct access to your Facebook credentials.
Try to use their lost password facility. Just you need to know the 2 secret question that you entered when you sign-up. Then they will reset your password.
Restart and on the first screen press 02468 it will force firmware update this should also remove "everything". If this doesn't work call Directv I know they can do it with the Rec. and Card #'s
