When i record i can hear me very well but the beat has like a funny bass sound to it what can i do to stop it

If your mic can "hear" the beat, it will record it as well with a reverberation that will NOT be pleasing. Maybe you can use headphones to avoid that.

Yamaha mg82cx locked up, all led's on, no audio signal

Check the power adapter. It is a 38 volt AC centertapped unit with 0.62 amp rating. Verify that you get 38 volts AC between two of the pins and 19 volts AC between any other pair of pins with an AC voltmeter.

Check that the connector is seated. These can sometimes seem to be seated but not fully in place.

Hiss

If trim controls or gains are set near maximum, HISS is normal as electronics generates a thermal type noise.

If gains are set in normal operating area, the noise SHOULD be minimal.

Other sources of interference like nearby radio transmitters, welders, arc lights, etc. can create noise.

Start with ALL gains turned down and find which if any cause the noise to be unacceptable.

MAKE SURE all power to this and ALL the other connected equipment come from a single receptacle to avoid ground loops.

Confuse about the jack

Both stereo and mono jacks will work fine on the inputs, any guitar or mic lead will work a treat.

You can use stereo jacks for the outputs too, but to keep it simple just use a mono jack in the L out and a mono jack in the R out.
